Highland Woods

Highland Woods is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in South Lake Tahoe.  One of the reasons for its popularity is the underground utilities, and no power lines.  A good mixture of Tahoe cabins, and contemporary homes, many of them backing the Barton Meadow, the homes and yards are well maintained.  Like many neighborhoods in Tahoe, it is close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and outdoor recreation.  The Highland Woods PUD (planned unit development) is a small cluster of chalets that share common green space and parking areas.
